Sharon E. Fankhauser

In 1982, Sharon began her career with a large CPA firm in Kansas City, MO. She successfully passed the CPA exam and was awarded the prestigious Elijah Watt Sells Award for outstanding achievement on the exam. While in public accounting, Sharon specialized in taxation of individuals and small business entities. In 1986, she joined a large, national money management firm where she later became CFO. She has provided tax advice and tax preparation for individuals and small businesses throughout her career. In addition, she has extensive experience with human resource issues including employee benefits.
Sharon is authorized to practice in front of the IRS.

Jamie started his career with a large Kansas City-based CPA firm in 1981 during which time he successfully passed the CPA exam. After leaving public accounting in 1983, he worked for an investment company specializing in real estate development, property management, oil & gas leases, and publishing. For 20 years, he was a small business owner before joining his wife, Sharon, to form Fankhauser Tax Associates, LLC. His experience includes individual and business taxation and small business operations. His small business experience includes ownership and/or management positions in publishing, property management, the mortgage industry, and construction.
Jamie is an Enrolled Agent (EA) authorized by the U.S. Department of Treasury to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. He is also a member of the National and Texas Association of Enrolled Agents and a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
